Tico's Tacos

A friend brought dinner over the other night. Turned out it was from Tico's Tacos. I have never partaken in their menu before, but was impressed. I decided to have lunch there today. Their Mariachi Burrito was amazing. It was "wet super burrito" stuffed with beans, rice, chicken, etc. The burrito was served on a bed a lettuce covered in the broth from the chicken used to stuff the burrito. This burrito is more than enough for two people or lunch and dinner for one.

After ordering, move on over to the salsa bar. Awesome assortment of salsa, both blended and chopped.

To quote my friend, "Their chips are like crack!" Boy was she right. Think of it as a kettle chip but made from a tortilla. Good crunch, great flavor, salted just right.

  1. George-

Glad to see you are back in town! I wanted to let you know that last night my wife and I went to eat at Pajaro Wine Bar (formerly Pajaro Grill) and had a unique experience. The food was awesome and the wine list was spectacular, but expect to wait on yourself. The owner is running it all by himself and that means you set your own table and fill your own water glass. But the prices on the food and the wine are awesome. I would highly recommend you go down and try it out. Let me know what you think.

  2. Nick,
Sorry I never replied to your post. Next time I'm in town I will check it out. I live in Menlo Park now. I'm trying to update this on a weekly basis. We'll see how it goes.
