Pink's

I've seen Pink's (the original in Los Angeles) on several food tv shows and had always wanted to try it out for myself. The cool thing about Las Vegas is that several famous restaurants from around the country have also opened up shop in Sin City. Pink's is located at the front of the Planet Hollywood Resort.

I love hot dogs and coleslaw...why not get them together and order Pink's Coleslaw Dog with an order of Chili Cheese Fries?

The coleslaw was very wet and caused the bun to get soggy and fall apart during the first bite. The slaw wasn't anything special, no real flavor, just diced cabbage soaking in a flavorless dressing. It also didn't come with the bbq sauce as stated on the menu. The chili on the Chili Cheese Fries was dry and clumy, it didn't coat the fries, a poor example of what could have been a great side.

Overall, it was very disappointing. I still want to visit the original, as I'm sure their standards are very different from the management at Planet Hollywood.
